Four years ago, I was blessed enough to represent Kenya, in an international beauty pageant that focuses on our oceans.
I travelled across the globe to South East Asia, Malaysia, and was introduced to the world of scuba diving, my gateway to marine conservation. Last month, I had the pleasure of exploring marine conservation on the African continent, myself, for the first time, and of course, in Kenya. During my time there, I put together a short mobile journalism piece, sharing some of the amazing work being done by Local Ocean Trust to preserve the tropical marine ecosystem.
